Class Etiquette

I: Please note that you should pay for your class when you register. Your “spot” in class is only guaranteed if it is paid for. Don’t get “bumped” by failing to pay up front. We can take a credit card over the phone and send the receipt along with the supply sheet. This should be done in advance of the class day to give you time to secure the necessary supplies and make any necessary preparations for the class.

II: We require a one-week notice of cancellation for a class unless a dire emergency such as hospitalization or death in the family occurs. We have already ordered supplies, the teacher has made the commitment to teach and we need you, the student, to firm up your decision in time for us to notify everyone who has signed up for the class to have time to buy supplies. Two days in some cases is not enough notice for a student to gather his/her supplies. Thank you for this cooperation for better classes.

III: On days when lunch is required for a class, you need to either bring your own lunch or you need to go out and purchase your lunch. We are no longer taking huge lunch orders and procuring them for you. We do not have adequate staff to spend several hours taking orders, calling it in, going out to pick it up and dealing with the money from each individual person., We provide refrigerator space for you or you may bring a small ice chest. Soft drinks are available for $.50 each; cold water and coffee are free. You will be expected to eat in your classroom. I am thanking you in advance for adhering to these policies.
